Hey and welcome!

Gotland's nation choir started in the spring of 2018 and we have continued to grow since then. Under the direction of conductor Henry Viberud, we sing a great mix of songs. Everything from Swedish classics to unique songs in other languages. Mostly we perform our songs at the nation's gasques but we also sing at other more specific events, such as the Uppsala Nation choir's charity concert, which is held in the Cathedral or at the National Choir Festival. At the end of each semester, we hold a final concert in Helga Trefaldighets church.

The choir currently has 26 active members, and rehearsals take place on Mondays between 19:00 and 21:00 in the nation's own ballroom.

If you wish to join the choir, an open rehearsal is held once every semester where you as an applicant do a simpler singing test. If you would like to hear some of our recorded songs, go to our Facebook page Gotlands nationskör or check out our Instagram @gotlandsnationskor.
