Hello there!

 

I’ve understood it’s uncommon for a kitchen master to apply for the same position again. “Is she just crazy?”, you might wonder. Yes, perhaps, but who says being a little crazy is a bad thing?

 

My name is Erika and I’m the current kitchen master. This semester has just gone so fast and I don’t feel done at all. I’ve really enjoyed being kitchen master and I love the creative freedom it offers me and that I get to execute my vision to better the nation. Also, I’m proud and happy – together with my lovely colleagues – to have enacted the motto of “ställ inte in, ställ om” when it comes to nation events and activities. To the extent possible, we’ve adapted rather than cancelled. This has been a challenge, but yet so fun!

 

For those of you who don’t know me, I’ve been a nation member since 2016 (I prefer the expression “experienced” rather than old). I’ve held several different positions such as weekend fika host and rental responsible, and it’s at the nation where I’ve made the best of friends, had the most laughs, created unforgettable experiences (and yes, Joel, I guess I forgot to mention you last time oops)
