Bettys Pettersson's Day: Scavenger Hunt + Bettys Pub

Bettys_150jubileum

Betty Pettersson was the first woman in Sweden to graduate as a student and to study at a University.

Betty was born in Visby 1838 and already at a young age she was considered bright which eventually led to further studies. After graduating as a student in Stockholm at the age of 33 she moved to Uppsala to start her University studies at Uppsala university.
Betty registered at Uppsala University and Gotland's nation at the 27th of February 1872, which is 150 years ago this year! ❤️

To celebrate this the HK committee will arrange a Scavenger Hunt at Gotland's nation's Betty Pettersson Day the 25th of February.
The event will start with dividing participants into groups. Then the groups will solve and find clues around the nation building. All groups will get the same amount of clues but the clues will be different for every group.

The first group finishing all their clues will get a small prize!
Just in time for when all groups are finished the pub will open upstairs. There you can fill your stomachs with delicious burgers and something to drink
