Nu finns en ledig lägenhet på Rackarbergsgatan 15 att söka.
Bostadsutlysning sker den 16:e september klockan 14:00. Ansökningar samt kvitto på betald medlemsavgift i Gotlands Nation ska vara 2Q tillhanda senast den 15e September klockan 12:00.

Information about Gotlands nation’s housing

Gotlands nation has 20 rooms in corridors and 24 apartments. The rooms all have shared bathroom and kitchen. The apartments are fully equipped.

To apply for a room you need to be a member of our nation.

To be a member you need to study either at Uppsala University (UU) or SLU in Uppsala. You become a member by paying our nation fee.

To prove that you study at UU or SLU you need your letter of admission. If you have applied via the Swedish VHS you need your “letter of admission 2”. There will soon be a web portal running where you can register online, uppsalastudent.com, if you have applied via VHS. Otherwise you need to go to the nation to join. Bring ID and letter of admission. The enrolling in Gotlands nation starts August 9th. Opening hours will be posted on our website.

Rooms are distributed on set times and dates where you need to show up or send someone with a witnessed declaration that they can represent you. A week or so before a distribution day you need to send in a complete application form with correct appendices. Out of the people who show up and have all the correct papers, the person with most points will get a room.

Points are given according to a list where different engagements in the nation give extra points. You get at least one point per term as a member. The more you engage in the nation, the better chance to get a room.

This autumn one room will be given to a new student in the middle of August. It will be awarded through a drawing of lots instead of counting points. Otherwise the process is just like any other room.

Efter en lång resa, en hård kamp och många frågor står Gotlands nation som segrare i Battle of the Nations 2010! Finalen vanns med 17-10 över Snerikes och nu huserar vi BoN-bucklan på expeditionen i ett år framöver. Var stolt, gotlänning!
