ÄNTLIGEN är det höst i Uppsala. För oss på Gotlands nation betyder det något alldeles särskilt.

Gotlands nation har den stora äran att presentera den sextioandra upplagan av LAMBSKALLEGASQUEN - Uppsalas äldsta och därtill kanske äckligaste Gasque.

Precis som namnet antyder är det just lammskallar som serveras. Kvällen kommer att bjuda på många Gotländska traditioner, unik matkultur och utomordentliga festligheter ända till 04:00. Under släppet kommer vi att ha två dansgolv och bjuda på mycket bra musik!

Gasquen kommer att föregås av en ärofull kamp i den gutniska leken ”stangstörtning” i Slottparken. Vinnaren av denna storartade kamp kommer att utses under gasquen.

Alla biljetter som inte betalats den 1/11 kommer att gå till reservlistan.

AT LONG LAST it's autumn in Uppsala. And for us at Gotland's Nation that means something unique.

Gotland's Nation has the pleasure to present for the sixty-second time, the LAMB'S HEAD GASQUE - Uppsala's oldest and possibly most disgusting gasque.

Just as the name suggests, we will be serving lambs' heads. The evening will offer many Gotlandic traditions, unique cuisine and extra special festivities all the way until 4 am. Two dance floors and great music will ensure the following after party is unmissable!

Before the gasque itself, a glorious competition in the traditional Gotlandic game of caber tossing will take place in Slottsparken; how far can you toss a large wooden pole? The winner of this prestigious contest will be proclaimed during the gasque.

Monday 21/10 for Gotland's nation's officers,
Tuesday 22/10 for Gotland's nation's members,
Wednesday 23/10 for other guests.

Tickets are available to buy at Gotland's Nation's curators' office during visiting hours (Mon-Wed 11-13, Thursday 17-19) as well as by e-mail to 1q@gotlandsnation.se (you must sign-up AND pay in advance to the nation's bankgiro account 230-2586 in order to secure your place at the gasque).

All tickets that have not been paid for by 1 November will go to persons on the waiting list.
